The Wal-Mart career site provides a vast amount of information about working for Wal-Mart, whether in a salaried position in the corporate office or an hourly job at a local store location. Job seekers can search for a job a variety of ways, as well as receive benefits information, tips on interviewing, and other help finding a job at Wal-Mart.
Accessibility of the Wal-Mart site is fair, though it could be better with the simple addition of alternate text for all images. Very few images on the site contain appropriate alternate text, making those images inaccessible to screen reader users. Large text settings do not work on any pages, making the text difficult to read for users with low vision. Users browsing the site with keyboard navigation and screen readers would benefit from "skip to content" links to allow more efficient browsing.
