The Chicago Tribune job site includes the best Chicago jobs from the newspaper itself, plus job listings from career sites nationwide. The site is powered by CareerBuilder, so users will be able to search for jobs nationally as well as in the Chicago metro area using a recognizable search interface. In addition to the job search feature, the Tribune site contains news and advice for users seeking jobs specifically in the Chicago area, as well as links to other Tribune employment articles and tips for the jobseeker.
The accessiblity of site is fair. Most pages have very little alternate text for the images and image links. No skip navigation links are present, so keyboard and screen reader users may experience frustration with having to tab through quite a lot of repetitive navigation. Some users may be distracted by the large amount of information contained on some pages.
