The USAJOBS site is the official United States Office of Personnel Management website -- the Federal Government's official one-stop source for Federal jobs and employment information. It offers information on over 17,000 U.S. government job opportunities, and allows users to create an account, search for jobs, and manage the career search process.
The accessibility of the USAJOBS site is very good to excellent. Screen reader users will find it particularly accessible and easy to browse efficiently. Alternate text on some images could be more appropriate, and keyboard navigation could be made more efficient by controlling the tab order in certain places. WYNN users may have difficulty on the Job Search page, because it seems to get stuck on the select lists. WYNN will eventually move past the selects and read the rest of the content on the page, but users must be patient enough to wait for it to recover. Except for those minor issues, the site should be easily accessible to all users of assistive technologies.
