The IDES site is a direct link to Illinois workforce services: job placement and referrals, unemployment insurance, employment and training programs, labor market information, payroll tax filing, etc. Most required forms are easily downloadable and available in Adobe Reader (PDF) format. Some individuals may even be able to file for unemployment benefits online.
Accessibility on the site is generally good, and few users of assistive technologies will experience any major problems browsing the site. Users who rely on keyboard navigation may find they cannot skip repetitive links because of a lack of a "skip navigation" link. However, except for a few other minor issues, the site is easily usable.
