The Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) oversees the hiring process for all State of Illinois agencies and helps to ensure that those agencies operate in the most efficient and cost effective manner. The CMS site provides a large amount of information regarding the services they provide, but job seekers primarily will need to access the section explaining how to obtain employment with the State and the forms associated with the employment process.
Accessibility for the CMS site is excellent. There are very few issues which should cause major problems for any users. Some pages do contain ambiguous links text (e.g., "more") that impedes the browsing and scanning efficiency for screen reader users. Most other users will not notice a problem. Most users of assistive technologies should be able to browse the site easily and efficiently.
