Illinois Skills Match (ISM) is the Illinois Department of Employment Security's automatic job searching system that matches job seekers with the most suitable employers. ISM maintains lists of available jobs at every skill level in hundreds of industries and occupations throughout Illinois. Job seekers or employers enter their information once, and ISM does searching and matching automatically.
The Illinois Skills Match site is generally accessible with a variety of technologies and is relatively intuitive for even inexperienced users to understand. The site is largely text-based and easy to follow for users accessing the site with a screen reader.
