Description:A Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is an electronic magnification device for viewing printed materials. 
Typical CCTV's consist of a camera, a television monitor, and a sliding tray ("X-Y table"). An electronically magnified and enhanced image of whatever is placed beneath the camera lens is displayed on the monitor. The sliding tray enables a user to easily focus on any part of the document. The ClearView 317 has a black & white camera and 17-inch monitor. It is capable of magnifying from 5.4X to 54X and offers automatic focus, zoom, high contrast, and reverse (white on black) image settings. Installation Notes:The ClearView is shipped in two parts, the base (including camera and tray) and the monitor. The monitor video and power cables attach directly to the base, and only the base power cable must be plugged into a wall socket. The tray has brake levers that can be used to lock it in position or limit its motion to one direction only. Be sure that the locks are disengaged before sliding the tray. |
