Description:The IntelliKeys is an enlarged, programmable keyboard. It includes six keyboard "overlays" that can be slipped in and out of the keyboard to change the size and configuration of keys. It also includes an overlay that can be used to adjust the sensitivity and repeat rate of the keyboard and to activate the "Sticky Keys" feature that allows modifier keys (e.g. Shift or Ctrl) to be pressed in sequence rather than simultaneously. The IntelliKeys "Mouse Keys" can also be used to control the mouse pointer.
The included snap-on keyguard (clear hard plastic sheet with finger-sized holes) can provide additional assistance for users with tremors or severely limited control of their hands; however, it only fits the IBM QWERTY keyboard overlay. Installation Notes:The IntelliKeys keyboard plugs in to the standard keyboard (PS/2) port. An additional keyboard can be plugged into the IntelliKeys "Y" cable, allowing both keyboards to be attached (and used) simultaneously. The additional keyboard overlays should be stored in a safe but accessible location. |
