Description:

The APH "Talking Books" tape player plays and records both standard (2-track, 1 7/8 inches per second) and "talking book" (4-track, 15/16 inches per second) audio cassette tapes.

The talking book format allows up to four hours of recording per tape and enables the use of index tones so users can quickly fast-forward or rewind to the beginning of new sections or chapters. Speed and pitch control allow listening at up to twice normal speed.

The APH Table Top model has a built-in rechargable battery and power cord. The power cord is stored in a compartment in the rear of the player.
